Mizoram University’s Political Science Department Holds Parent-Teacher Interface Programme

Aizawl, 12 September 2025: The Department of Political Science, Mizoram University, successfully organized a Parent-Teacher Interface Programme on 12th September 2025 at the Dean’s Multipurpose Hall, School of Social Sciences. The event was designed to foster constructive dialogue and collaboration between faculty and parents for the academic growth and well-being of students.

The programme began with Dr. Lallianchhunga serving as Chairman, followed by a Bible reading and prayer led by Dr. J.C. Zomuanthanga. Prof. Ayangbam Shyamkishor, Head of the Department, delivered the Welcome Address, setting the stage for an open and meaningful exchange of ideas.

Faculty members shared remarks on key departmental developments and opportunities for collaboration, while an interactive session provided parents and guardians with the opportunity to discuss students’ academic progress, challenges, and aspirations. The dialogue was marked by mutual engagement and a shared commitment to student success.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Suwa Lal Jangu, who expressed appreciation to all parents, guardians, and faculty for their valuable contributions.

The event strengthened the partnership between the department and families, reaffirming Mizoram University’s dedication to fostering holistic education through active engagement of all stakeholders.
