Mizoram University Organises Training on Rashtriya Karmayogi for Teaching Faculty

Aizawl, 9 September 2025: Mizoram University successfully conducted another session of its One Day Training Programme on Rashtriya Karmayogi, this time designed specifically for teaching faculty, on 9th September 2025 at the Conference Hall, MZU Guest House. The programme aimed to familiarize faculty members with the vision, principles, and practical applications of the Rashtriya Karmayogi initiative, fostering a culture of service, excellence, and responsibility in academia.

The inaugural session was chaired by Prof. K. Robin (Department of History & Ethnography, Master Trainer). Prof. Zoengpari (Department of Psychology, Master Trainer) introduced the concept of Rashtriya Karmayogi, emphasizing its vision and broader significance for higher education institutions. The Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Pravakar Rath, delivered the Welcome Address, encouraging faculty members to integrate the spirit of karmayogis into their professional roles. The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Prof. Zoengpari, who reiterated the transformative importance of the training.

The structured training programme featured four sessions:

  • Session I: Introduction to the ideals of the Rashtriya Karmayogi.

  • Session II: Broadening perspectives on success and fulfillment in public service.

  • Session III: Practical strategies for creating meaningful impact in day-to-day work.

  • Session IV: The role of karmayogis in nation-building and advancing administrative excellence.

The programme was well-received, with participants engaging actively in discussions. It reinforced Mizoram University’s commitment to capacity-building and nurturing a service-oriented academic community aligned with the national vision of transformative governance.
