Mizoram University commemorated its Silver Jubilee with a Tree Plantation Drive held on 1st August 2025 at MUNTSA Park, near the MZU Football Ground. The event was graced by Prof. Dibakar Chandra Deka, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, who attended as Chief Guest.
Executive Committee members, faculty, staff, and members of the university community, along with other participants, enthusiastically took part in the initiative. The programme was organized not only to celebrate the university’s 25th anniversary but also to promote environmental consciousness and sustainability within the campus community.
This meaningful event underscored Mizoram University’s ongoing commitment to both institutional milestones and environmental stewardship.
