Mizoram University proudly announces that Prof. Sushil Kumar Sharma, Senior Professor (Level-15) in the Department of Hindi, has been awarded the distinguished ‘Sahitya Shiromani’ Award by the Northeast Hindi Academy, Shillong.
This esteemed accolade celebrates Prof. Sharma’s remarkable dedication to the advancement of Hindi language and literature on a global platform. Renowned as an educationist, acclaimed Hindi writer, and respected literary critic, Prof. Sharma has made significant contributions to promoting Hindi worldwide.
Notably, Prof. Sharma is the only Senior Professor (Level-15) of Hindi in Northeast India and one of just five across the entire country—a testament to his excellence and leadership in the academic community.
