1. Admission for first semester of 4 year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Degree course in:

    • Electronics & Communication Engineering
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Civil Engineering.

 1.1 Eligibility: A candidate who has passed the higher secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) Examination or its equivalent from any recognized board having secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (relax able by 5% for SC/ST candidates) in 2023, 2024 and 2025 (appeared) shall be eligible for admission in B.Tech

2. Admission for Lateral entry in 3rd semester of B.Tech. Degree course (Subject to availability of seat) in:

    1. Electronics & Communication Engineering
    2. Information Technology
    3. Computer Engineering
    4. Electrical Engineering
    5. Civil Engineering.

 2.1 Eligibility: – Three (3) year diploma holder in Engineering in relevant branch with a minimum of 60% (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) marks may apply for lateral entry. Those appearing in the final examination in 2025 may also appear in MZUEEE 2025 provisionally.

3. Interested candidate may apply online through online admission portal of Mizoram University website on payment of Rs.1000/-(Rs.500/- for SC/ST Candidate).

4. Important Dates:

  • Last date of submission of ONLINE application form: 16th May, 2025 (Friday @ 5.00 PM)
  • Notification of Eligible Candidates: 20th May,2025 (Tuesday)
  • Date of Entrance Examination: 27th May,2025 at (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM)) (Tuesday).
  • Mode of Examination: Offline (Read notice below for further details)
  • Announcement of Result: 28th May, 2025  (Wednesday) (Regular and Lateral Entry).
  • 1stCounseling:
    For Regular entry : 28th – 29th May, 2025
    For Lateral entry : 23rd July, 2025
  • Venue for Entrance Examination/Counselling: Mizoram University and Guwahati.
  • No need to send the hard copy of the admission form.
  • Download and keep the copy of the pdf with you for future reference.

Fee Structure for B.Tech Programmes (Tentative): Click here to download

Instructions for form fill up:

      1. Give your Name, Email and phone to register for new applicants.
      2. Activate your account by giving the OTP received in the mail.
      3. Once the candidate profile is submitted further change is not possible.
      4. Select the programme you wished to apply.
      5. If the programme was visible and not visible anymore, go to home and scroll down to the bottom of the page. The programme name will be listed at the bottom of the page. From there, click on submit Application (Red colour option).
      6. Registration fees: Rs 1000/- for GEN/OBC/EWS and Rs 500/- for SC & ST.
      7. Don’t send the hard copy of the application form.
      8. For Lateral Entry students: Enter the details of Diploma under Class XII/Equivalent area.
      9. For family income, select ‘Not Appicable’ if you dont have the certificate.

For students whose money has been deducted but still showing unpaid:

1. Wait for 1 hour for the payment to be resolved by the system.
2. Log in to the account
3. Go to the ‘payments’ option
4. It will list all the payments tried by the students.
5. Select the payments that has failed.
6. Click on ‘Check Payment’.
7. If the payment was successful, it will be updated by the system.
8. If it still shows ‘Failure’, payment was not successful and the student needs to repay the amount again.

  • Documents to be uploaded:
    • Passport Photo & Signature
    • For Regular – Class X & XII – certificates and marksheet (for those students whose result is awaiting, upload the admit card)
    • Lateral entry – upload the marksheet for the latest declared result under class XII
    • Lalteral entry – upload the admit card for the final exam under the ‘Document Supporting Upload’

Important instructions:

(i) There is a separate google form to opt the exam centre for MZUEEE-2025. Candidates are requested to fill and submit the google form after the submission of online application.

(ii) If anyone fails to submit the google form, then his/her exam center will be allotted by the MZUEEE-2025 committee. Once the exam centre is allotted for such candidates, then no further request will be entertained.

(iii) MZUEEE-2025 authority may cancel the Guwahati exam center with prior notification if sufficient number of candidates do not choose Guwahati Exam center. In that case, only one exam center (Mizoram University) will be considered for all the candidates. The shortlisted candidates with their exam center will be displayed on 20.05.2025 in University website.
