Mizoram University held a formal handing-over ceremony for the newly constructed School of Earth Sciences Building on 17th July 2025. The state-of-the-art facility, developed under the Higher Education Financing Agency (HEFA) scheme, was executed by M/s Engineering Projects (India) Limited, a Government of India Enterprise.
The programme took place at the new building, located near the Department of Forestry, and was attended by officials from Mizoram University as well as representatives from Engineering Projects (India) Ltd. The ceremony marked the official transfer of the new infrastructure to Mizoram University and included a brief inspection of the completed facilities, signifying another step forward in the University’s commitment to advancing scientific research and education.
