Mizoram University and the Mizoram University Alumni Association extend their heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Isaac Zoramsanga, an alumnus of the Department of Mass Communication (2015–17 batch) and an active member of the Alumni Association, for his remarkable achievement as a member of the BBC team that won an Emmy Award for the documentary “Myanmar’s Civil War.”
The documentary, which earned the Emmy in the category of Outstanding Continuing News Coverage – Short Form at the 46th News & Documentary Emmy Awards, stands as a testament to excellence in international journalism. Mr. Zoramsanga’s significant role in this prestigious project brings immense pride not only to Mizoram University and its alumni but also to the entire state of Mizoram.
