Mizoram University Conducts In-House Training Programme for Administrative and Ministerial Staff

The Establishment (Non-Teaching) Section of Mizoram University successfully organized a two-day In-House Training Programme for all Administrative and Ministerial Staff of the University. The training was conducted in two batches from 15th–18th July 2025 at the Conference Hall, Department of Education, Mizoram University.
The training programme for the first batch began on 15th July 2025 with an inaugural session chaired by Dr. R. Zonuntluanga, Joint Registrar (Establishment). The inaugural address was delivered by Prof. Lalnundanga, Registrar, Mizoram University, who emphasized the importance of upskilling administrative staff as a crucial element in effective university functioning. A group photo was also taken following the inauguration.
The first day focused on Communication Skills, with both sessions led by Dr. Lalhmingliana Renthlei, who engaged the participants in interactive discussions on clarity, tone, and professionalism in workplace communication.
In the afternoon, the training shifted focus to Emotional Intelligence, conducted by Dr. Lalzuiliana Thomte, Senior Assistant Registrar (Estt-NT). The sessions highlighted key aspects of emotional awareness, self-regulation, and empathy in professional settings.
On 16th July 2025, the training began with a session on Teamwork by Dr. Saugata Sarkar, Assistant Director of Physical Education & Sports. This was followed by sessions on Time Management led by Dr. Lalropuii, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Management. The day concluded with a valedictory session addressed by Dr. R. Zonuntluanga, who appreciated the active participation of the attendees and encouraged continued learning and collaboration.
The same training schedule and structure were followed for the second batch of administrative and ministerial staff on 17th and 18th July 2025.
