Mizoram University successfully organised an online workshop on the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) 2024–25 on 31st July, 2025 aimed at facilitating smooth and timely data submission by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the state.
A total of 39 nodal officers from various HEIs in Mizoram participated in the workshop, where they had the opportunity to clarify their doubts and gain a comprehensive understanding of the AISHE data submission process.
The workshop began with a welcome address by Prof. Jamal Hussain, State Nodal Officer (SNO) for AISHE, who emphasised the importance of accurate and timely data submission for educational planning and policy formulation.
Mr. Shivam Pandey, resource person from the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, delivered an insightful presentation, explaining in detail the procedures and guidelines for uploading institutional data on the MoE portal.
The data for the 2024–25 survey is to be uploaded on the MoE portal by September 30, 2025. Prof. Hussain expressed confidence that, as in previous years, Mizoram will once again achieve 100% data submission within the stipulated time with the dedicated efforts of the institutional nodal officers.
