The Celebration of ‘National Voters Day’ was held at the Seminar Hall, School of Education, Mizoram University on 25th January 2024. Students and faculty from different Departments attended the online meeting with Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi, who addressed the new voters nationwide as part of the Namo Navmatdata Sammelman.
In his address, Prime Minister Modi told the youth that the next 25 years are very important for them and spoke words of encouragement, that their decision and how they handle their responsibility will decide the direction of India. In his address, the Prime Minister also explained the importance of voting to the young voters and how their vote can decide the condition and direction of the country.
