Internet/ WiFi:
All academic and administrative departments at the university are now equipped with LAN internet connections. Additionally, WiFi access has been extended to all academic departments and existing hostels, with further expansions planned for newly constructed hostels. To access the University’s internet services, users are required to have a valid university ID, which can be managed through the ICT Centre. This includes account creation and deletion. Apply for a WiFi account here.
Internet User Accounts:
Internet user accounts can be obtained from ICT. It should be the sole responsibility of the person concerned to keep the accounts safe and secure.

The university also provides free email access to all faculty, students, and staff under the domain @mzu.edu.in. These official university emails should be used solely for academic or official purposes.

Please note that all internet, WiFi, and email accounts will be automatically terminated when a user leaves the university, and this will occur without prior warning.
Medical Facilities provided inside the Campus:
- OPD Consultation
- Dressings, injections, stitching/removal of stitches, minor operations etc.
- Attending to emergency cases during and off-duty hours.
- Serological tests/Hematological tests/Bio-chemistry tests/Urine investigations at the Laboratory.
- Dispensing of medicines from the Pharmacy.
Central Library:
Central Library, Mizoram University is housed in an area of 4,496.62 sq.m and has a collection of 1,17,959 books, besides other reading materials; these are supplemented by e-Resources received from INFLIBNET. Library building surrounded by trees is disabled-friendly, barrier free with ramps. It has a power back-up of 100 KW stand alone Solar PV Power Plant to ensure uninterrupted power supply. The Central Library earned the appreciation of NAAC Peer Team as ‘having good facilities, good maintenance and a beautiful library’ as well as ‘one of the best libraries not only in North-East India, but Eastern India’.
