18th – 20th November, 2026
The International Conference “Current Advances in Chemical Science Research and Sustainability (CACSRS-2026)” is committed to fostering collaboration, innovation, and the sharing knowledge among scientists, researchers and educators of chemical sciences. Our aim is to create a dynamic and encouraging platform that showcases the latest developments in chemical sciences, with the ultimate aim of advancing our understanding of emerging themes in chemical sciences research and education.
The aim of this international Conference is to provide an inclusive interdisciplinary platform for researchers, eminent scholars, and educators to present & discuss their most recent results, discoveries, as well as challenges encountered and practical solutions adopted in drug design, organic synthesis, organometallics, supramolecular chemistry, herbal formulations, natural product chemistry, materials for catalysis, energy harvest and storage, nuclear chemistry, and polymer chemistry aimed at propelling forward the boundaries of chemical science research and applications.
We invite scientists, researchers, students and educators to join us in the CACSRS-2026 Conference. By participating, you may be an important part of a vibrant community dedicated to pushing the boundaries of knowledge by exploring the emerging challenges and opportunities in Chemical Sciences.
Selected paper from the conference will published in a Springer journal and other accepted paper will be published in an edited book. We also have five oral and poster awards sponsored by Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), for outstanding presenters during the event.
A local sightseeing tour will be arranged on 21st November. Those interested in joining the tour are requested to fill out the form.

About Departments of Chemistry & Industrial Chemistry, Mizoram University (MZU):
Mizoram University was created by an Act of Parliament (No. 8 of 2000) and it became functional from 2nd July, 2001. The University is located at Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram and is spread over 978.1988 acres. It was accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2014 and re-accredited with the same grade in 2019. In 2025, the University was re- accredited with an ‘A+’ grade by NAAC.
Mizoram University was ranked as one of the top 100 Universities in India, assessed by the NIRF rankings under MHRD. The Departments of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry, Mizoram University was established in the year 2006 and 2019 respectively.
Both departments offer postgraduate (M.Sc.) and Ph.D. programmes. The Department of Chemistry is supported under the DST-FIST programme of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The postgraduate programmes provide students with strong theoretical knowledge, laboratory training, and industrial exposure. Faculty members of both departments are actively engaged in research supported by national funding agencies such as DST, DBT, CSIR, SERB, DRDO etc..
About NACS:
The National Association for Chemical Security (NACS) is a nationally registered professional organization established in 2021 to strengthen Chemical, Biological and Environmental security in India. Registered under No. GUJ/2021/Ahmedabad
with NGO Darpan (GJ/2024/0411987), and recognized under Sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, and CSR Registration No. CSR00095395. It was founded by experts from leading institutions, including CSIR laboratories, NFSU, Gujarat University, Panjab University, IPFT Gurugram, and other premier institutions. Since its inception, NACS has contributed significantly to national and international chemical security initiatives. It has participated in the INTERPOL Global Congress on Chemical Security, collaborated with CRDF Global and U.S. national laboratories on chemical security and human reliability programs, partnered in the Indo–US Workshop on Chemical Supply Chain Security (CSIR-NEIST, 2022), developed a seven-module curriculum on Safety, Security, and Sustainability (released in 2023), collaborated with the University of Ladakh (2024), and organized a symposium with IPFT Gurugram and a three-month Certificate Course on Chemical Safety and Security (2025). In association with the University of Delhi, NACS also organized the International Conference on CBRNE Related Threats to National Security and Safety- Antiterrorism Measures for Safe Environment (ICCTNSS-2026) on 12–13 March 2026.
About ISCB:
Indian Society of Chemists and Biologists (ISCB) founded in 1995 with the following aims and objectives:
➢ To promote and advance the cause of multidisciplinary research by providing a common platform for better cooperation and coordination.
➢ To develop national consensus among the younger generation to strive for interdisciplinary cooperation.
➢ To promote awareness of recent developments in frontal areas of science.
➢ To organise symposia, conferences and special lectures in different disciplines of science.
How to reach:
Aizawl can be reached by Air through Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati or Shillong. The University is approximately 28 Km away from Lengpui Airport. Reserved and shared taxis are readily available at the airport for travel to the University. Aizawl can also be reached by train.
