Mizoram University marked a momentous occasion on 5th August 2025, celebrating its NAAC grading achievement and ushering in a new era of digital transformation with the formal launch of the e-Office system. The grand event took place at the MZU Auditorium and was graced by Gen. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram and Chief Rector of Mizoram University, who attended as Chief Guest.
The programme, compered by Prof. Lynda Zohmingliani from the Department of Education, commenced with the National Anthem and a felicitation ceremony to honor the distinguished Chief Guest. Prof. Pravakar Rath, Pro-Vice Chancellor, delivered a heartfelt Welcome Address, expressing gratitude for the Governor’s presence and highlighting the university’s recent academic milestones.
A detailed report was presented by Prof. Diwakar Tiwari, Director of IQAC, who outlined the quality benchmarks and key initiatives that contributed to Mizoram University’s upgraded NAAC grading. This was followed by an address from Prof. Dibakar Chandra Deka, Vice Chancellor, who reflected on the university’s transformational journey and its commitment to continuous improvement.
A major highlight of the event was the official launch of the e-Office system by the Hon’ble Governor, marking a significant leap towards institutional modernization and digital governance at Mizoram University. In his address, Gen. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh commended the university’s achievements and reaffirmed the importance of innovation and quality education.
The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Lalnundanga, Registrar, followed by the National Anthem, leaving the university community inspired and united in its pursuit of excellence.
