Mizoram University Conducts Training Programme on Rashtriya Karmayogi for Officers and Staff

Aizawl, 26 August 2025: Mizoram University successfully organized a One Day Training Programme for Officers & Staff on Rashtriya Karmayogi at the Conference Hall, ICT Centre, MZU. The programme was designed to deepen awareness of the vision and significance of the Rashtriya Karmayogi initiative, fostering a culture of excellence and commitment in public service.

The inaugural session was chaired by Prof. Lalnundanga, Registrar, MZU, and began with an introduction to the Rashtriya Karmayogi by Dr. Lalzuiliana Thomte, MDO, MZU, who highlighted its guiding principles and objectives. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dibakar Chandra Deka, extended a warm welcome and encouraged officers and staff to embody the spirit of karmayogis in their professional roles.

Joining the event virtually, Dr. Jitendra Kumar Tripathi, Joint Secretary, UGC, delivered an insightful address underscoring the national importance of this initiative in shaping efficient, responsive, and citizen-centric governance. The session concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Zairemmawia Pachuau, Joint Registrar and Master Trainer, who expressed gratitude to all contributors and participants.

The training programme featured four engaging sessions:

  • Session I: Introduction to the ideals of the Rashtriya Karmayogi and its relevance.

  • Session II: Broadening perspectives on success and fulfillment in public service.

  • Session III: Practical strategies for creating impact as a karmayogi in daily responsibilities.

  • Session IV: The vital role of karmayogis in nation-building and administrative excellence.

The event reinforced Mizoram University’s commitment to nurturing efficiency, responsibility, and service-oriented values among its officers and staff.
